Poems for every month!

My second year of teaching, a very good friend of mine shared these awesome poems with me. I’ve used them ever since. Not only are they cute as can be, but they also help my kiddos learn how to spell the names of every month. Can’t get much better than that! We recite our poems every day during Calendar time.

    NINA...Your blog is so fun! I really enjoyed looking through it this morning. I am your newest follower. Do you have a smartboard? I do my calendar on mine. If you want to try out one of my calendars let me know and I will send you one:) Thistlegirldesigns has some really cute Wee Wizards graphics if you have not seen them you should take a peek at them. They would fit your blog perfectly!

    Thank you so much Monica! You're too sweet. I've been such a bad teacher blogger lately! Haven't updated in FOREVER!!! I have a promethean board in my classroom. Can you use smartboard files on them? I'm not really sure! I thought about doing my Calendar on the board this year, but I chickened out. Sometimes technology isn't as reliable as I'd like, but I'm going to try it next school year!

    I LOVE these poems! I am your newest follower and found you through Sheri's blog. I think you can use Smartboard files on a Promethean but you cannot use Promethean on a Smartboard...or I could have dreamed that. =)
